Santiago, Chile - The Chile-Portugal Chamber of Commerce presented its first forum of 2023, held on March 22 at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, bringing together important representatives of the chamber, the Embassy of Portugal in Chile, the Embassy of Chile in Portugal, and experts from the business and diplomatic worlds of both countries.
During the event, attendees had the opportunity to learn more about investment opportunities in Chile and Portugal, as well as to discover the main imports and exports between both countries. The highlight of the event was the launch of the first bilateral report between Chile and Portugal, which provides valuable information on trade relations between the two nations.
The event was attended by the Honorary President of the Chile-Portugal Chamber of Commerce, Pedro Pablo Díaz; the Ambassador of Portugal in Chile, Mr. Carlos Amaro; and the First Secretary of the Embassy of Chile in Portugal, Ms. Ximena Alcayaga. In addition, interesting presentations were given by experts from the business world, such as the Director General of Bilateral Economic Affairs of Subrei, Mr. Sebastián Gómez, and the Director of Aicep Portugal Global, Mr. Rui Lourenço Pereira, who explained why Portugal is an attractive market for business.
The most anticipated moment of the event was when the company Datasur presented its Chile-Portugal 2022 bilateral report.
