We are proud of the trust established with the Finnish Embassy in Chile for creating the coverage of Finland's 100 years of independence and being present at the decoration of the first Latin American from the private sector awarded the Knight of the First Class of the Order of the Lion of Finland.

The history of Finland is a story of resilience and determination. Finland has managed to maintain its independence and democracy for more than a full century. This celebration is a testament to its exceptional achievement.
The motto of this centenary, "Together," summarizes the Finnish mentality — in a world full of challenges, Finland has demonstrated how unity and cooperation can overcome adversity.
Former Ambassador Mika-Markus Leinonen highlighted in his speech: "Finland dressed in white and blue, colors that symbolize its nation, to celebrate its history and look to the future with optimism."
The event brought together various authorities and diplomatic organizations, Finnish businesspeople, and the Finnish community in Chile.
Former US Ambassador to Chile, Carol Perez, congratulated Finland on this special occasion, recognizing the friendship between the nations.
A very moving moment came for Felipe Viguera, Manager of the South American Market at Outotec, who received the decoration — in the name of the President of the Republic of Finland, H.E. Mr. Sauli Niinisto — of Knight of the First Class of the Order of the Lion of Finland, an honor that in our interview he highlighted as reflecting the close relationship between Chile and Finland.
According to the Chilean Ministry of International Relations: "The Order of the Lion of Finland, founded in 1942, is one of the three highest distinctions that the President of the Republic of Finland can grant in recognition of civil and military merits to nationals and foreigners."
We highlight that Felipe Viguera is the first Latin American from the private sector to be awarded this decoration.
We did not only transform this great event into a video — it is a valuable digital heritage asset. We were the only ones who covered this event, and we thank the Finnish Embassy in Chile for the trust that we have built over the years. UNESCO underlines the importance of preserving digital heritage, as some resources may be vulnerable to obsolescence and deterioration. The "UNESCO Charter on the Preservation of Digital Heritage" seeks to ensure that these forms of heritage remain alive in the digital age.
