With the unbeatable natural setting of Playa del Carmen under the beauty of the full moon, the first day of the Festival began with the participation of the renowned Mexican singer Iraida Noriega, presenting a setlist full of enveloping sounds fused with the echo of the Caribbean waves. Afterwards, Pedrito Martínez and his group set the audience dancing to the rhythm of Cuban rumba and its percussion, giving way to the 10-time Grammy winner, trumpeter, pianist and composer Arturo Sandoval, who delivered an exquisite display of classic Latin jazz with an emphasis on wind, brass and percussion instruments. Finally, the Spanish Harlem Orchestra, ft. Miguel Zenón & Giovanny Hidalgo, closed a magical night with a strong dose of salsa and Latin rhythms that make them unique worldwide.
