What is Machine Learning.ws Labs?
It is basically an Innovation and Software Development Laboratory (Data Science Factory). We are based in Santiago, Chile, but our values and technology come from various places such as the USA, Japan, and Israel.

Who is Juan Astudillo and how did your entrepreneurial spirit emerge?
I am a trained Computer Engineer (Software Engineer) with a diploma in Business Management and a Diploma in Innovation in Education, and I am pursuing a Master's in Computer Science. This whole technology topic has been my passion since approximately age 7, when I started programming on my Atari 800 XL. I remember customizing cassette loads with the name of a fictitious company and selling them. Later, I formalized my studies, first studying Programming and Systems Analysis, and in a later stage I graduated as an Engineer, then specialized in Data Science and Software Architecture topics. I believe I have always been disciplined and have achieved what I set out to do by following the correct order — this is reflected in my work methodology, which I have transferred to the company. Japanese culture is another of my passions, just like electric guitar.
How does Machine Learning.ws Labs project itself into the future?
First, regional and international expansion to other countries and other sectors. As a rule, we only make specific software for each client, without the possibility of resale when it is custom. This forces us to challenge ourselves, to observe carefully when we are finishing a project, to see how we do something innovative and different. That is why we are obligated in a positive way to seek other markets and support more companies. Reaching Mexico and the USA is an option on our radar between November of this year 2020 and June of 2021. We also always seek to strengthen our team through career growth and professional profile within the company, and obviously to bring on more collaborators.
