Air France is pleased to announce the arrival of the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner on the Santiago – Paris route during the 2019 austral summer season, adding 3 new frequencies to connect Chile with France and from there to 195 destinations in 92 countries.

The 7 Dreamliner aircraft in the Air France fleet can carry 276 passengers and are fully equipped with the latest Air France cabins: the Business cabin features 30 seats arranged so that each one has full aisle access and complete privacy; the Premium Economy cabin with 21 seats, true comfort bubbles within a fixed structure; and the Economy cabin with 225 seats. WiFi is available in all classes, along with the airline's traditional gastronomic selection and entertainment variety.

The 3 new frequencies will increase the airline's seat capacity by 31% during the period. Flights will depart from Santiago on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays at 10:55 PM, arriving at 4:50 PM the following day. These new schedules will help provide more and better connections with other long-haul flights to Hong Kong, Johannesburg, and Singapore, and will diversify passengers' options to reach more destinations in the network.

Pia Lackman, General Manager of Air France – KLM in Chile, commented: "We believe in the Chilean market and we want to offer our customers and all travelers more alternatives for travel. That is why we continue taking actions aimed at meeting their needs, giving them better service and greater coverage." With the new flight schedules, Chilean travelers will enjoy all the benefits of a transatlantic night flight.
