On Thursday, November 23, 2023, the 5th International Oncology Nursing Congress was held, bringing together Chile's nurses dedicated to oncology. Samuel Riffo Luengo, Chairman of the SEOC board, told us that its main objectives were: updating knowledge, improving evidence-based practices and integrating the different levels of health care in the oncology field, primarily at the primary care level.
Currently, oncology nursing in Chile has been certified as a specialty, which gave this congress an important and special reason for holding this activity.
