The Chilean Oncology Nursing Society, together with the Faculty of Nursing of Universidad Andrés Bello, organizes the First Pediatric Oncology Nursing Conference. This event is a pioneer in the training and updating of professionals dedicated to the care of children and adolescents with cancer in Chile.

With the aim of strengthening the role of nurses in pediatric oncology and improving the quality of care, the Chilean Oncology Nursing Society and the Faculty of Nursing of Universidad Andrés Bello have joined forces to organize the First Pediatric Oncology Nursing Conference; the event will take place on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Universidad Andrés Bello, República 239, Building R3, Andrés Bello Hall, Santiago de Chile.
The conference will focus on crucial aspects of the care of children and adolescents with cancer, such as the evolution of pediatric oncology nursing in Chile, the challenges of the national childhood cancer plan, effective communication with patients and families, innovative therapies and practical workshops on vascular access and exposure to cytostatics.
